Anyone else watch Revista La Liga on Sky last night?

Guillem Balague revealed that he had it on good authority that Walter wants a move to Espanyol and that a delegation from Espanyol were in Brum to clinch a deal in the next few days.

Not sure if this has any credence, but I would be amazed if SB really thought we had a chance of escaping relegation with 3 strikers as "nippy" as Emile, Walter and Chris Sutton. It seems more likely that Walter will be off in his truck sharpish.

The Spanish press are worse than the English. They often run stories with no quotes and out of touch with reality.

Pandiani's agent was wuoted on teletext as saying he has tunred down moves to Espanyol and Mallorca in favour of fighting for his place at Blues.

Now unless Pandiani has had a change of heart or Blues have told him he is not wanted and being sold, i cant see any truth in this story.

i agree - if our strategy is to "swap" a player with pandiani's pedigree for one like euell and lose money on the deal we're going down for real!!
@hooby, who is jfh???

Can't say for certain, but Walter says that Karren's handprint will leave a bruise on his back for several weeks

so one of the Spanish Leagues best strikers is not good enough for BCFC. Or is that BCFC isn't good enough to the player. If he was given a run in a team that was creating and playing with confidence then we'd all be having Pandiani name tatto on behinds. But instead we look like chumps and a player who looked like he cared IMO is allowed or pushed away.

Sad tale this season is becoming

Well if true, its a sad affair. Pandiani is a much better 'quality striker' than Euell is.

So we'll be selling an out-and-out forward for a utility attacking player. Thus leaving us short on numbers upfront AGAIN. I have my doubts about JFH joining us.

Another case, of the board not going that little bit extra. Why not keep Pandiani until the summer? Instead of using the cash to finance another deal, for a useful player, but not ideal.

I always liked Walter, but he was too slow for the Premiership and never really fitted in with our style of play (hoooooffffffffffffffffff)But, if it means that his departure makes room for Hasselbaink I would be happy.

If it means that we go to the run in with Heskey, Sutton, Euell and Forsell then I think we're still too light/too predictable

Anyway, he goes with my thanks and best wishes

Not bad I suppose, only a £2 million loss in a few months. Another piece of sound business sense.

BCFC

Premier league your having a Laugh

Were going to look just right with this sort of maddness in the transfer worlf in the champ next season. Maybe we'll even do a Man Citeh and slip to the second then fight our way back up.

Premier league Blues?

You are having a bloomin laugh

Blimey Mark, even you must have doubts about Bruce now

Bruce signed Pandiani 5 months ago for £3m, he sells him now for £1m

Surely, even you can see that there is something slightly amiss there ;)

I admire your positivity, I really do, but fair do's - it was a blunder

On your own, on your own, on your own! ;)

You don't see Pompey or Everton selling any other players do you?

They are restocking, and will then clear out in the summer! Maybe we could do the same..........eeeeeer nah. The board are keeping tabs on Brucies mastercard.
